JENN GIACOPELLI
Owner & Head Trainer
Jenn Giacopelli parlayed years of personal successes and experiences as an equestrian competitor in the equitation, hunter & jumper disciplines, and in 2002 established Rhiannon Equestrian. Jenn’s objective was to create a safe, supportive, and professional environment whereby riders of all ages and abilities could continuously grow and achieve personal success.
Throughout her professional career, Jennifer’s students have won numerous championships and top ribbons from the local to national levels of competition. These venues include competitions such as the Professional Horseman’s Association Finals, the Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association Finals, Marshall and Sterling League National Finals, New England Equitation Championships, and the USHJA Young Rider Jumper Championships. Jennifer has successfully trained students from the beginner divisions up through Grand Prix level show jumping. Her dedication and personal commitment to each student in the program sets her apart, and supports individual success at all levels of skill and ability.
LEANNA KEEVIL
Staff Trainer
As a junior, Leanna Keevil successfully competed in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. In the latter part of her junior career, Leanna’s focus became the jumpers. She competed on the A-level circuit throughout the Northeast. Leanna attended the University of Connecticut where she was captain and point rider for the equestrian team.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Business Management, Leanna came on board as a full time member of the Rhiannon training staff. Leanna’s skill and background enables her to train riders of all levels. She also provides training for many horses in the program both in and out of the show rings.
